  • 45.7 km of additional fibre cable to be installed that will extend service to approximately 3955 households and businesses.
  • Able to provide a minimum download speed of 1.5 Mpbs (megabits per second).
  • Affordable subscriber fees from a variety of packages ($32.95/month to provide up to 2 mbps download speed that is consistently fast and never shared).
  • No additional equipment charges outside of the monthly connection charge.
  • Can bundle with existing Bell products (phone and satellite) to achieve further monthly savings and eliminate a second phone line typically required for dial-up customers.

  • Where the DSL line is available, there is 99.9 % probability that a resident can obtain high speed service.
  • Scalable - Bell Aliant is currently planning a migration path for the DSL technology to reach greater speeds in the future. Communities are also protected from technology obsolescence.
