Rural Connections is a joint venture between The Province of Ontario, The Township
of McNab/Braeside, The Township of Admaston/Bromley and Bell Aliant.
The purpose of this venture is to bring High Speed Data access to more residents
of the Township of McNab/Braeside and The Township of Admaston/Bromley, not currently
being served.
The automated "eligibility check" (below) is now on-line for residents of McNab/Braeside and Admaston/Bromley (Douglas area).
Only Customer locations included in the 2009 Rural Connects expansion plan are included
in the data. For other areas, please check on what Internet Services are available
in your area by going to the Bell.ca site.
The Townships of McNab/Braeside & Admaston /Bromley and Bell Aliant acknowledge
that there is significant interest in this Broadband Expansion project with great
demand for service from across both townships.
Please be advised that the purpose of this interactive site is for information purposes
only and used to help answer questions from residents of the Townships of McNab/Braeside
and Admaston/Bromley. Bell will NOT be pre-selling any services to any resident
or business in the project area. Timelines for service are subject to change. If
your phone number yields a successful response you will be provided with a tentative
service date. However, prior to the sale of any service to your community the Townships
of McNab/Braeside and Admaston /Bromley in partnership with Bell Aliant will host
information sessions to discuss the project and where service is being offered.
It is only after a community launch will services be made available as part of the
funding agreement with the Province.
